Ramón Aranda
4 de October de 202515,000 kilometers. That’s the distance between Tokyo and Lima. Or Shanghai and Oslo. These distances are sometimes difficult to conceive and understand without perspective. It’s more than the diameter of the earth.
In the Titan World Series, that figure has taken on a new meaning today. There is a rider who has reached 15,000 kilometers riding a bicycle in Titan World Series events. And that rider goes by the name of Ramón Aranda.
The Andorran is on track to complete his 30th race among Škoda Titan Desert Morocco, Škoda Titan Desert Almería, Titan Tropic Cuba, and Titan Desert Saudi Arabia. He has competed on four continents and has become a Titan in all four. He only missed one edition in Cuba, in 2016.
An unprecedented milestone. An example of consistency, perseverance, and love for a sport and a discipline, the Titan Desert. No one understands what it means to be a Titan as well as he does, and no one can speak with such authority about what we call the Titan spirit. Because his resume proves it, and because he has more than 15,000 reasons in his favor that prove him right.
