She is the reigning Spanish champion, European runner-up, and fourth in the world. She has been European champion and a cyclist who has been at the top of cross-country marathon racing for several years.

Natalia Fischer has the name of a champion and a track record that backs up everything good that can be said about her on a mountain bike. And yet, this Titan World Series debutante has also experienced some very bitter moments in the world of sport.

In 2022, an injury kept her out of the top spots for the rest of that season and the following one. “I even thought about giving up cycling for good,” admitted the Ecopilas Extremadura cyclist. “I’m much better mentally now, but I went through some really tough times. I’m enjoying myself more and I’m back to being a bit hyperactive, as I’ve always been,” she explains with a laugh.

A smile that always appears when she crosses the finish line. It almost seems as if it comes easily to her to ride at the level she does. But it has been tough, very tough. And today, as the eighth best in the world in her category, she smiles and wins with equal ease.
