How to get there?

In this section, we will explain everything you need to know to get to the race starting point.

Race start and finish location – Titan Village

The Titan Village, the nerve center of the race, will be the Barceló Cabo de Gata Hotel, located in El Toyo.
This will be the place where all participants must be on October 1st, the day the verifications begin.
This same place will be where the final stage ends on October 5th.

Dates

Wednesday, October 1st – Arrival of participants, verifications, and initial briefing
Thursday, October 2nd – Stage 1
Friday, October 3rd – Stage 2
Saturday, October 4th – Stage 3
Sunday, October 5th – Stage 4. Final ceremony

Getting there by plane

Almeria Airport. The closest airport to El Toyo is Almeria Airport, located just 12 minutes from the Barceló Cabo de Gata Hotel.
Malaga Airport. An airport with very good connections to most European countries, located 2 hours and 20 minutes from the Barceló Cabo de Gata Hotel.
Granada Airport. It has multiple connections with hundreds of cities, and it is located 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Barceló Cabo de Gata Hotel.

Transfers from airports and train stations

By car

Almería is well connected to the rest of Spain by highways and motorways. If you’re coming by car, there is ample parking next to the Barceló Cabo de Gata Hotel where you can leave your vehicle during the race days.

By train

Almería has a train station with connections to the entire peninsula. The nearest cities with high-speed train (AVE) connections are Malaga and Granada.

Trains from both cities operate to Almeria. You can check the different combinations here.
